This is basically a workbook for preschoolers。 It's not really logic puzzles。 It's things like find the difference and complete the pattern。 If your child wants to do activity books you can find good ones at the dollar store。 I don't really think this is worth the price for what you get。 This is basically a workbook for preschoolers。 It's not really logic puzzles。 It's things like find the difference and complete the pattern。 If your child wants to do activity books you can find good ones at the dollar store。 I don't really think this is worth the price for what you get。 。。。more

I loved this book of logic puzzles for kids。 Seven chapters cover the skills of sequencing, comparisons and abstract thinking, inferences, patterns, analogies, deduction, and critical thinking。 It’s colourful, engaging and kid friendly。 I received a free copy from the publisher with no obligation to leave a review。

This book has 7 different categories of brain games - sequencing, comparisons & abstract thinking, inferences, patterns, analogies, deduction, and critical thinking。 Each category has eight different activities/worksheets to practice that particular skill。 And each activity includes a parent prompt to help expand the activity and get the child thinking further along those lines。 The colorful pages will keep your pre-K through 1st grade child excited and engaged。Thanks to Callisto Publisher's Clu This book has 7 different categories of brain games - sequencing, comparisons & abstract thinking, inferences, patterns, analogies, deduction, and critical thinking。 Each category has eight different activities/worksheets to practice that particular skill。 And each activity includes a parent prompt to help expand the activity and get the child thinking further along those lines。 The colorful pages will keep your pre-K through 1st grade child excited and engaged。Thanks to Callisto Publisher's Club for the complimentary copy in exchange fro my honest review。 。。。more

fun for kiddies!Logic skills are essential for kids to help them learn。 This book full of color with lots of fun illustrations。 While this book says for ages 4 and up, I found that most of the activities are more suited for older kids。 Children 5 and under maybe might find the activities too challenging as some require writing a sentence。 I do like that there are a variety of puzzles separated into 7 chapters:Chapter 1 - sequencingChapter 2 - comparisons & abstract thinkingChapter 3 - Inferences fun for kiddies!Logic skills are essential for kids to help them learn。 This book full of color with lots of fun illustrations。 While this book says for ages 4 and up, I found that most of the activities are more suited for older kids。 Children 5 and under maybe might find the activities too challenging as some require writing a sentence。 I do like that there are a variety of puzzles separated into 7 chapters:Chapter 1 - sequencingChapter 2 - comparisons & abstract thinkingChapter 3 - InferencesChapter 4 - patternsChapter 5 - analogies, Chapter 6 - deductionChapter 7 - critical thinkingWith all answers in the back of the book。 Each page also has a “Parent Prompt” at the bottom of the page。 Over all I find this book very educational for kids。I received a free copy of this product from Callisto Publishers in exchange for my honest review。 I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way。 。。。more

Teaching logic skill is an essential skill to learn as kids。 What better way to learn those skills than with a puzzle book。 This is a colorful book that is fully illustrated。 The book says age 4-7。 I would think 4-5 would be a bit too young for most of the activities。 There are writing activities that require finishing a sentence。 Not that a parent could write the answer in the space for them。There are lots of puzzles from that help cover sequencing, comparison & abstract thinking, inferences, p Teaching logic skill is an essential skill to learn as kids。 What better way to learn those skills than with a puzzle book。 This is a colorful book that is fully illustrated。 The book says age 4-7。 I would think 4-5 would be a bit too young for most of the activities。 There are writing activities that require finishing a sentence。 Not that a parent could write the answer in the space for them。There are lots of puzzles from that help cover sequencing, comparison & abstract thinking, inferences, patterns, analogies, deductions, and critical thinking skills。The book has parent prompts to help guide you while working with your child。 This is a neat book。I received a copy of this product from Callisto Publisher's in exchange for my honest review。 I was not required to write a positive review。 。。。more

Thank you Callisto Publishing and Rockbridge Books for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review。 I requested this book for my 4 year old and she loves to pretend to use it as a school book however, getting her to actually do the activities is a bit more challenging。 I'd say the activities themselves could be age appropriate if you can get the 4 year old to sit and do them but I think you'd have better luck using this for a kid who is already used to doing worksheets, so the 5-7agre Thank you Callisto Publishing and Rockbridge Books for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review。 I requested this book for my 4 year old and she loves to pretend to use it as a school book however, getting her to actually do the activities is a bit more challenging。 I'd say the activities themselves could be age appropriate if you can get the 4 year old to sit and do them but I think you'd have better luck using this for a kid who is already used to doing worksheets, so the 5-7agre range would be perfect for this logic book。 。。。more

Beautiful book to help young children develop logical thinking skills。Logical thinking skills are important in daily life。 And you can definitely develop them。 These Logic Puzzles for Clever Kids will help your little ones start in the right way。The games and activities are organized in seven chapters: Sequencing (ordering things, finding what comes next); Comparisons & Abstract Thinking (spotting differences, recognizing shapes; Inferences (figuring out what’s happening, cause and consequence) Beautiful book to help young children develop logical thinking skills。Logical thinking skills are important in daily life。 And you can definitely develop them。 These Logic Puzzles for Clever Kids will help your little ones start in the right way。The games and activities are organized in seven chapters: Sequencing (ordering things, finding what comes next); Comparisons & Abstract Thinking (spotting differences, recognizing shapes; Inferences (figuring out what’s happening, cause and consequence); Patterns (recognizing and building them); Analogies (how things are alike or unalike); Deduction (sort through information, draw conclusions, make generalizations); and Critical Thinking (with more challenging puzzles, following clues to do something)。 And the answers at the end。my review is here: https://wordsandpeace。com/2020/01/24/。。。 。。。more

The following review contains my honest opinions。I cannot stress enough how much we have loved this workbook! Kudos to Molly Lynch: she has done an amazing job creating this workbook!Logic Puzzles for Clever Kids is a workbook of logic puzzles for kids ages 4 and up。 I would say that the recommended age is spot on, all the puzzles throughout the book were engaging and provided just the right amount of challenge for my 4 year old。 He has been excited to play these brain games and was very sad when we completed the workbook。 (Dear Mrs。 Lynch, please create more workbooks!)There are seven different types of puzzles: sequencing, comparison & abstract thinking, inferences, patterns, analogies, deduction, and critical thinking。 I think it is fabulous that Mrs。 Lynch has found a way to introduce topics like inferences, and analogies early in an age appropriate way。 Several of these types of puzzles are areas that I feel even high school aged youths struggle with and these topics are often found on standardized tests (i。e。 SATs)。。。so the earlier the exposure and the more fun that exposure is, the better。 The puzzles are set up to be led by the adult。 In some cases, reading the instructions to my child was enough for him to complete the puzzle independently, but in other cases (for example through the deduction section), I would have to read the instructions and each clue sometimes multiple times while he worked out the solution。 I point this out to say that if you are looking for a book that your child can work through independently without any input from you as the adult, this may not be the book for you。 Each puzzle in this workbook also contains a parent prompt that helps take this activity a step or three further。 As a parent, I found this to be incredibly helpful! The illustrations are cute, colorful, and charming。I highly recommend this workbook! Homeschool moms with pre-k aged kids, pre-k teachers who use worksheets in their classrooms, and parents or grandparents looking for a fun but educational activity this workbook is for you! 。。。more
